Landed yesterday in Shanghai after traveling for nearly a day from Boston. Things I’ve already observed:
- A lot has changed in the six months since I’ve been here.
- Significantly less traffic from the airport, must be all those new roads they’ve opened up
- The “No Pajamas in Public” law now in effect is not really being enforced
- New “Expo” taxis flying around the streets. These are cool because they are the only taxis that can take you straight into the expo site if you have a ticket. Oh yeah, and they have seat-belts, that’s a first for Shanghai!
- A bunch of new restaurants have popped up in the area where I live so I’m excited to try them out.
More soon!
